Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! We are excited to begin this journey with your family. This is our 15th school year and it will be full of great surprises! Look for new initiatives from Cristina Weisman, our Director of Community Outreach (and Music and Theater Director). There will be lots of ways for your family to get involved. Please check your child’s Friday Folder for her 15/15 Newsletter!
Fall Welcome Breakfast: To kick off the year, we hope you can join us at our Fall Welcome Breakfast on Saturday, September 15, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on our Warren Street playground. Come enjoy a pancake breakfast, connect with other school families, teachers and staff members and meet your child’s classmates! If you have not already done so, please click here to RSVP.
AfterSchool classes for Primary, Elementary and Middle School students begin soon. Watch your inbox next week for an email with registration links. Registration will be first come, first served. If you are interested in having your child begin Piano, Violin or Guitar lessons, please send an email to email@example.com.
Back to School Nights
Toddler & Primary Parents: We invite you to join us for our Lower School Back to School Night on Thursday, September 13, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Bring your questions, talk to your child’s teachers and spend time in the classrooms. These events are for adults only and no childcare will be available. We appreciate your cooperation. Please click to RSVP.
Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary & Middle School Parents: Please join us for our Upper School Back to School Night on Monday, September 17, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Please click to RSVP.
Every Friday students bring home school communications and other documents in their Friday Folders. Please review the information in your child’s folder each week and then return the empty folder to school on Mondays.
Please look for a large envelope from the office at dismissal time on your child’s first day of school. The packages contain important school documents, including copies of your child’s application, emergency contacts, emergency medical information and more. Please review your child’s documents, sign the appropriate documents, make any necessary corrections and return to school. If all information is correct, please sign each page and return them to school. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our database accurate.
Please Mark Your Calendars: The school is closed for Yom Kippur on Wednesday, September 19
Upper School Families: Watch your inbox for information about Fall term Pizza Fridays.
Snacks for After School: If your child stays for AfterCare or AfterSchool classes, please send an extra snack for your child to have in the afternoon.
We are excited to begin our 15th year and we hope you will join us as we build connections within our WFM community and the larger world. We are glad to have your family as part of our school!
