After a lesson about sound waves, the Upper Elementary students defined important terms about sound and conducted an experiment about the benefits of having two ears rather than one.  As part of the experiment, called Sound: Can You See What I Hear?, one student hid a ticking timer and another tried to find it, first with one ear covered and then with both ears open.
