Despite their reputation as messy or disorganized, young children often experience a strong inner motivation to care for their environment.  Without any prompting from their teachers, these Toddler 2 students took it upon themselves to clean up stray pencil marks, dust the materials, sweep the floor and wash the classroom chairs.  With the right tools, plenty of time and a few demonstrations, young children are capable of helping to care for their surroundings and can find great satisfaction in contributing to their environment in this way.
