The Upper Elementary students presented their final projects in Spanish class. They created board games similar to Monopoly, Chutes and Ladders and Clue, complete with their own playing pieces.  Other students made bingo games or card games that tested participants’ vocabulary knowledge. Many students chose to tag pictures with funny descriptions that playfully illustrated their command of the Spanish language.  An Upper Elementary Spanish end of the year project introduced students, especially those in their fifth year, to the project based learning that they will soon engage in as a part of the IB Middle Years program.
