We invite you to join us for our next K/A Coffee on Thursday, May 7, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m., in the Lower Campus Multipurpose Room on the first floor. The topic will be our Parent Book Club, and the book title is The Spark. Every other week, Karen Westman, our Head of School, and Allison Schneider, our Associate Head of School, host drop-in coffees for WFM parents. No RSVP is required and the coffees are open to all WFM parents. Please join us downstairs on Thursday to stay current on what is happening at WFM!
On Friday, May 8, from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m., parents of Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary students are invited to join us in their child’s classroom for Open Friday. This is a special time for parents to come in and spend time with their children in their classrooms (rather than a time to meet with teachers or other parents). We hope you can join us! (We regret that we cannot accommodate younger siblings.)
Parents of Primary Students, including Kindergarteners: Please Mark Your Calendars!
Primary Class Music/Kindergarten Spanish productions are coming

Parents of Kindergarten, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary and Middle School Students: If you wish to allow your child’s art work to appear in WFM’s Artsonia online art gallery, please use your child’s personal permission slip with his or her Artsonia username and security code, which was sent home in an envelope earlier this week, to grant permission for Ms. Stacey to upload your child’s art work to WFM’s gallery. You may grant permission online or send back the signed paper permission slip. You may create an account so that you may view your child’s work, and if you wish, you may also invite friends and family to view your child’s work. If you do not have your child’s permission slip, please contact Chris at the Upper Campus and she will be happy to assist you.
Don’t miss your chance to attend our Third Annual Gala! Tickets are available now for the Third Annual Waterfront School Foundation Gala on Wednesday, May 20, 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City. We hope that you can join us! Upper Elementary and Middle School students are welcome to attend and tickets are discounted accordingly. Please click here for more information and to purchase your tickets! http://wsfgala2015.bpt.me/

Call for Silent Auction items for the WSF Annual Gala: If you or your business can donate goods and/or services to be auctioned (professional services, vacation homes, timeshares, products, gift certificates, goods and more) at WSF’s Third Annual Spring Gala on May 20, please contact Allison Schneider at the Lower School campus as soon as possible. You may call her at 201.333.5600 or send a note to Allison@waterfrontmontessori.com. We appreciate your contributions to the Waterfront School Foundation’s fundraising efforts!
Reminder: The Waterfront School Foundation is enrolled in Amazon Smile, a program in which Amazon donates a percentage of your purchases to charitable organizations – at no cost to you! Anyone can set up his or her existing Amazon account to support the foundation at this link: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/45-4548129. When you register, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to The Waterfront School Foundation, and it will not cost you a penny. Please take this opportunity to sign up to support the foundation through Amazon Smile. The WSF appreciates your help!
We are happy to have your family as part of our WFM community.
