Performances will be presented at 8:45 a.m. in the Lower Campus Multipurpose Room on the first floor. The performances are expected to last about 20-30 minutes. We hope you can join us to see your child perform!

Parents of Primary and Lower Elementary Students: Just a few spaces remain for the WFM Movie Night! on Friday, May 15, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Your children will enjoy a movie, pizza and fun with their older friends, you enjoy a quiet evening and the UE/MS students raise money for their Spring trips! Grade 3, Upper Elementary and Middle School Parents: SAT-10 Testing begins next week. On Monday through Friday, May 11 through 15, the Grade 3 students will take the paper version of the test during part of each day. On May 14 through 19 (Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday) the Upper Elementary and Middle School students will take the SAT-10 test online during part of each day. Please see that your child gets appropriate sleep each night and has a healthy breakfast each morning.
Parents of Elementary and Middle School Music Students, Please Save the Date: Tuesday evening, June 2, the Elementary and Middle School Piano, Guitar and Violin students will present their Spring concerts for parents and friends. More details will be provided soon.
Summer Fun! WFM Summer Camp registration is open for children from 2 to 8 years old. WFM will offer six weeks of Summer Camp from June 29 through August 7 at the Lower School Campus. This year’s offerings: Session I – Where the Wild Things Are, Session II – Movin’ and Groovin’, and Session III – Fiesta Time. Registration forms for WFM students are available at the school office. Secure your child’s spot as soon as possible!
Before WFM Summer Camp begins, your child can attend WFM Creation Imagination Art Camp With Ms. Stacey: The first two weeks of camp, June 15-19 and June 22-26, will be held at the Waterfront Montessori Upper Campus in the Art Room. Registration is open to WFM students in Grades 1-8. (Applicants must have completed Grade 1 prior to the start of camp.) Each week students will enjoy lessons in drawing, painting and sculpting. Parents of Kindergarten, Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary and Middle School Students: If you have not already done so and you wish to allow your child’s art work to appear in WFM’s Artsonia online art gallery, please use your child’s personal Artsonia username and security code, noted on a special permission slip in his or her Friday Folder today, to grant permission for Ms. Stacey to upload your child’s art work to WFM’s gallery. You may create an account so that you may view your child’s work, and if you wish, you may also invite friends and family to view your child’s work. (If there is no personalized permission slip included in your child’s Friday Folder, then you have already granted permission and established an Artsonia account.)
Don’t miss the Third Annual Waterfront School Foundation Gala coming up on Wednesday, May 20, 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City. Tickets are available now online or at the school offices, and we hope that you can join us! (There is no service fee for tickets purchased from the school offices.)
