2016-2017 Admissions season is in full swing. Siblings of current students receive priority in admission as long as the older child continues to be registered at WFM. If you are planning to have a younger sibling attend Waterfront Montessori next year, please submit an online application through www.waterfrontmontessori.com by December 4 so that we may reserve a space for your younger child. In the ‘Other Information’ section, please indicate that you are submitting a sibling application.
If your family has moved, changed phone numbers or
email addresses, or changed any other contact information, please contact the
office immediately to provide your updated information. If you wish to make any changes in your
child’s Release Authorization List or Emergency Contacts, please complete and
sign the appropriate forms and send to the office. Correct information is important for the
safety of our students, and we appreciate your help in keeping our records up
For Upper School Families:
Ancient Fire, the WFM FIRST LEGO League Robotics team, will compete in a Qualifying Tournament on Saturday, November 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Clifton High School in Clifton, NJ. You are welcome to attend the event to cheer on the team! For more information, please contact Mr. Eddie, the team coach: firstname.lastname@example.org.
For Parents of Upper School Students who stay in AfterSchool: Many of our students must be experiencing growth spurts! They tend to eat everything in their lunch boxes at lunch time and by after school time they are hungry again. If your child is an Extended Day student or stays after school for enrichment classes, please send your child a substantial snack for after school. Thank you for your help!
On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, which is a half day, the Lower Elementary classes will have a Thanksgiving feast. Each child may choose to bring food or drink to share with schoolmates. Please watch for your child’s permission slip next week and check the food sign-up sheets on the attendance clipboards beginning on November 20.
As always, we are glad to have your family as part of our WFM community. We hope that you will visit The Flow often and share what is happening at Waterfront Montessori!
