Toddler 2 - May 11, 2018

Green Thumbs

The Toddler 2 students were delighted to celebrate the arrival of warmer weather with a special planting project last week.  Organized and led by our class parent, this activity introduced the children to the basic needs of plants: soil, water and sunlight.  They were excited to dig in the dirt, plant their seeds and water the soil alongside their friends on a beautiful morning.  Many thanks to our class parent for this wonderful experience!

Preparing for Primary!

With the end of the school year on the horizon, the Toddler 2 class is looking ahead to Primary!  This week, the children began a series of short visits to neighboring Primary classrooms.  This will help them to understand and get excited about the upcoming transition, as well as help them become familiar with some of the Primary students, teachers and environments. In Primary 3, two older students graciously showed the Toddlers around the classroom.  Over the next several weeks, all of the Toddler students will have a chance to visit the various Primary classrooms.  We are so proud of their growth this year!
