For the past several weeks, the Toddler 1 class explored various types of flowers. As a “grand finale” to this unit, all of the children had a hand in making one large flower collage as an entire class. Each student had a chance to pick his or her favorite color, have their hands painted, and press careful hand prints onto individual sheets of paper. Afterward, the hand prints were cut out, combined and arranged into a colorful bouquet of flowers. The Toddlers were quite excited to see the finished product and quick to search for their own set of hand prints among the bunch. The class is proud to offer this Class Garden project to be auctioned off at next week’s Waterfront School Foundation Gala. Best of luck to the highest bidder!
