Weekly Announcements - Friday, February 26, 2016

Please mark your calendars: The school will be closed next week on Friday, March 4, for the annual NJMAC Conference, and then on Monday and Tuesday, March 7 and 8, for Parent-Teacher Conferences.

On Parent-Teacher Conference days:

  • All-day childcare will be provided for registered Extended Day students only.
  • Parents may bring students to school during their conference times.
  • Middle School students are expected to attend their conferences along with their parents.
  • If parents are attending conferences on both floors and plan to bring students during conference times, please be aware that all Toddler and Primary students (including Kindergarteners) must remain at the Lower School campus on the first floor where we are properly staffed to care for younger children.
  • AfterSchool classes will continue as scheduled on conference days.

We invite you to join us for the next Parent Coffee on Thursday, March 3, from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m., in the second floor Upper School Multipurpose Room.  The Topic:  Approaches to Teaching Science at WFM.  We will also welcome the parents of students accepted to WFM for next year.  Join Karen Westman and Chris Toomer, our Co-Heads of School, along with Allison Schneider, our Associate Head of School, as they host this drop-in coffee for WFM parents.  No RSVP is required and the event is open to all school parents.  Please stop by the second floor Upper Campus Multipurpose Room on Thursday, March 3, to stay current on what is happening at WFM.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Reminder for Middle School Parents and Students:  Mandatory meeting to prepare for MMUN, Tuesday, March 1, 6:30 p.m.

The Upper School students and Ms. Stacey are collecting cardboard boxes and tubes for Art projects. Please send in small, medium and even a few large boxes, as well as paper towel and toilet paper rolls/tubes. The students and Ms. Stacey appreciate your help!
