Mornings develop the body and spirit with outdoor sporting options such as basketball and tennis, introductions to yoga or karate and the exploration of music.

Friday field trips to museums, parks and more will round out the sessions!

Afternoon thematic sessions will include the following:

June 27th - July 8th:  Stop Motion Animation
Kids turn arts and crafts into moving images! Campers will learn how they can turn basic photography into short animations with just a camera and a computer! Using key fundamentals in Art, your child will develop characters and backgrounds, create elaborate cartoon sets and edit their short animations in the Hue Animation App. No prior experience is required, just creativity!

July 11th - July 22nd:  Lego Robotics II - Advanced
Go, Robots! Go! It is time to step up the engineering game. Students will develop some new skills in advanced mechanisms and programming using Lego Mindstorms EV3. This camp will focus on getting to know the Simple Machines and will introduce programming puzzles that your child will need to engineer his or her robot to solve. Each day, the robots will have a new simple machines challenge and a new problem to tackle! 

July 25th - July 29th:  Music Production
Let's Rock & Roll! Campers will become music makers and produce their own songs with Apple's GarageBand App. The app is a great tool for unleashing musical creativity and the best part is that no prior experience is required. Students will learn the ins and outs of making a drum beat, program a piano roll with a wide variety of instruments, and then mix and finalize their own songs to be the next iTunes hit! 

August 1st - August 5th:  Movie Making
Lights, Camera, Action! Camp becomes a movie set! In the time it takes to watch a movie, your child will be learning the key elements of how to build a set, act in, direct and film a short movie. In pre-production, students will map out a story board, write a script or plot a documentary. After the camera stops rolling, they will learn post-production editing, transitions and special effects using Apple's iMovie App!
